Artist Residency Program

Offering creatives the use of the land, woodlands, fields, creek, and more as a
living laboratory to explore, research, and create.

The Verdancy Project Residency offers artists space and time to create, rest, research, recharge, and get away from the demands of everyday life. We provide privacy, nature, solitude, and time for artists working in the disciplines of visual art, dance, theater, music, media, literary and interdisciplinary arts. This Residency is for creatives whose work pushes boundaries and exhibits a unique and specific connection to nature and ecology.

We offer 1-2 week residencies to encourage parents, caretakers, and creatives with day jobs to apply.

Please take a look at our FAQs to learn more about our residency.

Applicants should be aware that the residency takes place on a private 4.5-acre property in Troutdale, OR. Although residents will enjoy private use of on-site facilities, the property itself is home to The Amidon Family and their dog, and you will encounter them out and about working on the homestead.
