Can you help?
Getting Involved at The Verdancy Project
As The Verdancy Project continues to grow, so does the care it takes to tend this place, its land, its creative energy, and the people who pass through it. We are a small, family-run project, built slowly and intentionally, and much of what happens here is made possible through shared effort.
Volunteering at The Verdancy Project is less about “helping out” and more about becoming part of a creative ecosystem. It’s a chance to spend time on this beautiful land, to work alongside artists and makers, and to support meaningful creative work.
A Small Project, Run by Real People
The Verdancy Project is run by our family, with the help of a small circle of collaborators and community members. There’s no large staff or formal departments, just people who care deeply about art, nature, and cultivating spaces for rest, curiosity, and connection.
Because of that, volunteer support truly makes a difference. Extra hands allow us to host artists, care for the land, run events, and keep the wheels turning during our busiest seasons.
What Volunteering Can Look Like
Volunteer needs shift throughout the year, and we do our best to match people with tasks that align with their interests, skills, and availability. Some examples of ways folks have helped include:
Garden and land care (planting, weeding, tidying paths)
Assisting with events, workshops, or readings
Helping prepare spaces for visiting artists
Simple studio or project support
Seasonal tasks like seed sorting, organizing, or setup and breakdown
