Learn to sculpt paper into beautiful botanicals that look like they came right out of the garden.

Join paper artist Inga Peterson for an in person six-hour paper botanical workshop on the beautiful grounds of The Verdancy Project. Learn to make a life like paper hellebore and fern frond sculptures using German crepe paper, watercolor paint, wire and glue. This class will cover all the basic paper sculpting, coloring and finishing techniques needed to build your own amazing botanicals.

Template, step by step instructions and resources will be provided during the workshop as we build the flower together one part at a time. There will be ample time for questions and individual attention with time to take breaks as needed.

Inga will also provide a small take home kit for each student that includes extra paper, wire and glue so students can make another project if they like.

There will be an hour lunch break and nature walk to observe the botanicals on the grounds of The Verdancy Project. Please bring your own bag lunch, refrigerator and microwave are available.

All levels of crafters are welcome in this workshop.
