Ignacio Gonzalez - He/Him

“Music for trees” is a celebration of the unconditional love trees show for all life forms. Trees protect us from the sun, clean our water, host animal housing and they do it all without ever moving from the place where they are born. “Music for trees” is a compilation of mostly original music Ignacio created over the span of three sessions as artist in residence at The Verdancy Project. Ignacio is adding a few selected pieces to spice up his presentation.

Ignacio is a composer, musician, writer and professional Counselor. He holds degrees in Music, Psychology and Counseling. An avid traveler, Ignacio has lived, worked and studied in three different countries from two different continents. When he is not working with clients and is away from the piano, Ignacio can be found skating, traveling, interacting with raccoons, birds, butterflies, water and, of course, trees.

Terra Incognita allows me work outside the confounds of traditional music. Specifically, I am able to manipulate form, harmony, rhythm, and melody to create original sound.
