The Verdancy Project
Instructor: Shannon Amidon
$60 plus a $20 materials fee that includes wooden flower press + all materials
Step into the enchanting world of flower pressing and learn how to transform fresh blooms into timeless keepsakes. In this hands-on workshop, you'll receive your own handmade wooden flower press, to continue your creative journey long after the class ends.
We’ll begin with a stroll through The Verdancy Project’s lush landscape, foraging a variety of flowers and foliage to work with. You’ll learn both quick and traditional pressing techniques, learning how to preserve nature’s beauty with ease.
Once you've gathered and pressed your materials, you'll spend the rest of the workshop creating with an array of pre-pressed botanicals, designing beautiful cards and bookmarks to take home. Whether you're drawn to floral art, nature journaling, or simply slowing down to appreciate the natural world, this workshop offers a beautiful way to press pause and create something lasting.
No experience necessary—all supplies provided.
This in-person workshop will be taking place outside under a tent or in a shaded area. The class is located in a rural natural environment with some uneven terrain. Please let us know if you have any accessibility requests or needs and we will do our best to accommodate them. Unfortunately, we are not mobility accessible at this time.
Cancelation policy:
Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 6 days of the event will not receive any refunds. Due to the nature of our workshops being taught by different instructors with different price points etc. credits for missed classes cannot be given.
